Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum GPA: 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale)
     
  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following or a closely related field:
    • Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics
    • Electrical and Computer Engineering
    • Industrial and Systems Engineering
    • Materials Science and Engineering
    • Physics
    • Earth and Environmental Sciences
       
  • Official Transcripts from all post-secondary institutions (unofficial transcripts sufficient for review and admission; official transcripts required upon accepting admission offer)
     
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
     
  • English Language Proficiency (for international students):
    • TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo or Cambridge scores are required if English is not your first language (requirements)
       
  • No GRE required
